Oriental Trellis canvas is handpainted on 14 count white orange-line Mono canvas. The design area is approximately 6" wide by 6" high. Oriental Trellis was inspired by a ceramic tile from the turn of the century. It reflects aspects of the Japanese artistic style which was newly introduced to Europe, and which played a major part in the development of art nouveau. Also available in cross stitch.
